Debi was born in Juneau, Alaska and likes to refer to herself as a native Alaskan, although she also spent 10 years in New Orleans, learning many wonderful ways to enhance Alaskan seafood and game meats. She loves the life-style Juneau offers and is an avid hiker, biker, skier, gardener, boater, fish catcher & quilter.
John is an Alaskan Native of the Tlinget people and a life-long resident of Sitka and Juneau. He is of the Lux'nikadi (Raven Coho) clan. John has much to share of his rich Native culture and loves the land and sea. John enjoys his boat and fishing, and filling the backyard smokehouse with salmon prepared as taught by his grandfather.
John and Debi's organic garden boasts an apple and a cherry tree and a variety of vegetables and berries. Debi and John also pick the wild berries and make many jams and jellies, which grace the morning breakfast table. Both can share their knowledge of trails and off-the-path visitor spots you won't want to miss.
